It does appear to be working correctly because when I open the model I export from Blender after running these 3 basic steps, I see a very nicely laid-out (if fragmented) UV from the Smart UV Project.
I only implemented this method of unwrapping: I wanted to do everything from this post.
However, I appear to have a problem with the last step in Meshlab. I can import the models. And the color shows open mesh lab from the first model, but when I try to transfer the vertex colors to the model with UVs, Meshlab crahses.
(I’ve tried with the latest updates and get the same result.)
Any ideas, @Morganicism? (Or anyone?) Or is there another way to do this last step?
